Policies

  • Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis!
  • Register early to avoid disappointment.
  • Your place is held only upon receipt of payment in full.

 

Registrations for classes, workshops, and private lessons may be completed online via our secure shopping cart – **please note that your credit card statement will reflect DANA RUTH DES / AAW

Certain classes and workshops require students to be 18 and older. Children between 14-17 may attend with a supervising adult. Please read the class description.

CANCELLATION / REFUNDS:

Cancellations must be made in writing no later than (1) week from class start date.

A processing fee of $9 will be deducted from credit card refunds for class cancellations.

No refunds after class begins.

Tuition for postponed / re-scheduled classes and workshops will be valid as a credit towards any future class, workshop, or private lesson for two (2) years from original class date.

Absences should be discussed with individual instructors.

Tuition for all other cancellations can be put towards future classes (space available), open studio time, and/or private lesson time for a period of one (1) year.

Tools may be returned within 10 days, in unused, original, re-saleable condition. Tool
returns are subject to a 10% re-stocking fee.

Supplies purchased for class are not refundable.

OTHER POLICIES:

We are glad to honor your personal check. However, there will be a $25 fee for any returned check.

Missed classes will be handled through (1) make-up open studio session at the end of the quarter. This time is only to make-up missed studio time and lessons will not be repeated.

If you would like to make up a missed project/lesson you may do so by scheduling a Private Lesson at $40 per hour.
